Mullen Professional Services (MPS) provides management consulting services to clients of all sizes to achieve operating efficiencies, gain competitive advantage, and drive organizational change. Services

Technology Strategy: I will evaluate your current-state capabilities relative to other companies in your industry, work with you to understand your business goals, and then use these inputs to construct a future-state roadmap for your IT organizations.  I have hands-on experience with capability assessments, vendor assessments, product roadmaps, application roadmaps, and customer journeys.

IT Program Management (IT PMO): Enterprise-wide system implementations require thoughtful planning, communications, and stakeholder management to ensure a successful outcome.  I have over 10 years of experience overseeing large-scale technology projects. I will design a framework to manage, monitor, and report on the progress of your program, and then lead the PMO function as you execute your project plan.

Quality Assurance: Are you certain your solution is ready to meet the needs of the business?  An independent review will help.  Leverage my expertise in quality control to validate that your requirements have been met, service levels are within the agreed-upon limits, and your solutions is functioning as designed.  I have managed quality at all stages of the project lifecycle, from pilot build to production launch.

Chris Mullen
Founder

I am an operations leader who specializes in helping clients leverage technology to run a better business.  An engineer by training, I spent the early part of my career at a large consulting firm, building technical solutions for high-tech and telecommunications clients to enhance their digital capabilities.  After business school, I pivoted into operations consulting, assisting clients with product launches and new business ventures, and then transitioned into industry, overseeing turnaround efforts at a mid-sized financial services company before venturing into consulting again.

I have worn many hats throughout my career, including sales strategist, product strategist, project leader for a multi-layered team, client support specialist, offshore delivery manager, and head of operations.  Having worked with over a dozen companies, I bring a unique perspective on what works and what doesn’t to drive financial results. In addition, owing to the customer-centric culture of the consulting industry, quality control has always been integral to my work.

I founded Mullen Professional Services so that I could deliver exceptional client service without the bureaucratic distractions of a large firm.  Today, I can fully dedicate myself to each project.

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from UCLA.  When I am not traveling on business, my home base is Scottsdale, Arizona.
